What part of the screen gets captured?
Screen Grabber captures whatever image is on the screen. Note that Screen Grabber is not able to capture images from certain video overlays that are used by some video programs and 3-D games).
Most of the menu and toolbar items are grayed out in Screen Grabber; how do I activate them?
These items are grayed out because there is no active image for you to work with. If you hit the Print Screen key or the ALT-Print Screen keys, a screen image should appear within Screen Grabber and at the same time, the menu and toolbar items will come to life.
How do I get Screen Grabber to capture an image?
By pressing the “Print Screen” key (sometimes labelled “PrtScr” or “PrnScr” or something similar), you will get a copy of the entire screen. By pressing the “ALT” and “Print Screen” keys together, you will get a copy of the active application’s window.
